More toned paper stuff

Here's another piece done in my toned paper sketchbook. I decided to color this one with water color and then pull out the whites with a white pencil. I got a little carried away with the white and overdid it, but it was fun to do at the time anyway. enjoy.

Space Station Tycoon!

This is about the coolest thing in the whole world. Right now you can go over to IGN.com and see a preview of the game that I am currently working on. IGN is a big game site devoted to giving out the latest dirt on all the hot new games coming your way. On the front page you can scroll through the top stories of the day up at the top and our game is one of those stories. I have been excited about this project for awhile now and I'm happy to see that we've released some info about it. I'm not sure what all I can tell you about the game, but I will say that I was the lead artist on the game and I was able to design all the characters you see. I also got to design the ships and stations as well. The other cool thing is if you read the interview you'll notice that the main character is named Shawn. (Wait a minute, MY first name is Shawn! Coincidence, you be the judge) Anywho the interview is over at wii.ign.com/articles/768/768580p1.html. Please go over and check it out and let me know what you think. Back Again, Again!

Wow! Sorry that I was away for so long. Life has just gotten busier and busier with no end in sight. I still have managed to do a little bit of artwork on my own and so I'll let you in on it a piece at a time. This is one I did for a cool sketchbook with toned paper. It's always nice to be able to pull out the whites on a picture as well as all the darks. It's a fun sketchbook that kind of forces me to go beyond what I normally do. Enjoy.

Sorry about the long hiatus. Nothing really that should have kept me from blogging but I was just lazy and things at work have been kind of hectic. Anyway, here's another pic fromt he book I did.
